Lead Visual Designer — I led the end-to-end design of Alliance Technical Group’s Employee Handbook, transforming it from a dense policy document into a polished, branded resource. I established the visual direction, crafted a clear layout system, and applied consistent typography and color to align with the company’s identity. By prioritizing readability and navigation, I created a handbook that not only communicates policies effectively but also reinforces Alliance’s culture and values.
Alliance Technical Group needed an updated Employee Handbook that went beyond legal and HR compliance. The existing material was dense and text-heavy, making it difficult for employees to quickly understand policies, company culture, and values. The challenge was to redesign the handbook into a modern, branded document that employees would actually use as a reference.
I led the design with a focus on clarity, usability, and brand alignment. I developed a clean layout system that broke complex policies into digestible sections, using hierarchy, typography, and spacing to create a natural flow of information. Visual cues and consistent formatting made it easy to navigate between high-level sections (company history, mission, core values) and detailed policies (HR, compliance, workplace expectations).
The redesigned handbook transformed a static, text-heavy document into a polished, visually engaging resource. It not only provides employees with the information they need in a clear and accessible format, but also reinforces Alliance’s brand identity and culture of professionalism. The handbook now serves as both a practical tool and a cultural touchstone for new and existing employees.
